Art is an expression that comes through you either using imagination, creative skill or emotion. These can be physically expressed through painting, sculpting, music, literature ect. For every artist this can be a different experience, but for me Art flows throw me effortlessly and feels almost therapeutic in a way. Art is a way for me to get away from the stress of the world and when I am creating, everything seems to just go calm. It's a way for me to escape when I'm stressed and it keeps me healthy mentally. At that moment my brain is calm and clear and I feel that this type of relaxation is important to the body and mind. I just move with the follow of what I am creating. It almost feels like I am light as a feather and nothing around me exists except for what I am doing at the moment. I feel present. Art has a deeper meaning than just physically drawing images, it is how I am built and without it I am not myself.

Art can be shared with others. You can either give it away or sell it for profit. I myself am a henna artist and I am keeping this age old traditional folk art going, by creating beautiful art work for my clients. Art is something that has been around from the beginning of time and has been passed down from generation after generation through traditions, cultures, food, textiles, wood craft, the list is endless. Art is a way of life and we all have experienced it in some way.
